No rest for the weary
Haven't posted in a while...No time! I have decided to pick up the guitar and take lessons. I am totally enjoying it! And I am afraid it has taken up all of my extra time. There are many things that have happened! There have been 2 preschool programs, many long days at work, a date for the completion of the playground, lots of housework, many ballgames, and I have read a ton of books.
I finally read the twilight books and I am in love. Read them all twice now. I have started the Sookie Stackhouse books, VERY different! And in honor of a sweet little boy with eye problems, I have FINALLY begun the Harry Potter books. I just don't like them...I will read on though...but I am slow because I just don't like them.
Here are other tidbits to think about:
Have you thought about the fact that Jay Leno has 8 shows left? Now that is way past my bedtime, but I used to tivo conan so I am excited about him taking over. I am going to set it to tivo again.
Have you heard that Law and Order will likely be renewed for a history tying 20th season (and I have seen every single episode)?
Have you watched Farrah's show? It was amazing!
ARe you sad American Idol is over?
Have you seen Star Trek? If you haven't do, it is sooooo good. I can't wait to see it again.
Have you thought about how Obama is doing? And how has his work affected you?
Don't forget Tom Brokaw is going to have a new show on USA...he will travel all over America doing what he does best.

Me? WHAT?
Apparently, there is a little creature somewhere in happy "blogging" land...that likes to read my blog and likes my opinions. Who could that be and why? No clue, but here is the story.
One day I open the mail box and there is this box inside. It was fairly large and I ordered NOTHING. Okay, unabomber freak out that I am I am afraid to touch it. I flip it over and see it is from Dove. Well, they are a trustworthy company so I go for it. I like it out of the mailbox and it is HUGE! What is this?
I bring it into the house and open it (still carefully cause as you know I am a freak). When I get inside the box, I see there is a bottle (full size) of deordorant. It's PINK too! There are also about 100 coupons for $2.00 off this stuff. WHAT? How did this happen? I never get free stuff! LOVE it but never get it!
Well, here it is a free thing. I start using it that day. As my friends know, I love deordorant. LOVE IT! So I start. It smells good and does NOT make me sneeze which in this day and age is a RARE feat. I use it for almost a week and THEN I get a email in my inbox.
The email said I was a "popular blogger". Who writes that stuff? Who rates my thoughts? Why do they care? Anyway, they did and said I was sent the "sample" (but it was no sample it was Full sized) so that I could test it and let my readers know what I thought of it.
Well, here it goes, cause I love free stuff and I want more, so read it if you want..but trust me this is a topic I know about.
PINK. The product is pink. Pink is nice! It is a "cancer pink", no not a pc term but everyone can visualize the color when I say that. The product has a light rose scent. And it is light becuase it did not make me sneeze...I loved this part. I did not like the roll up dial, the whole bottom must be turned to roll up the product. That was strange to me, but as of the last few years I only use secret so maybe they are the ones that do it crazy.
The product says it will make underarm hair smoother...well, considering that I have none cause I shave every day, I don't have a problem with this. No clue it that part works.
It does have a nice feel to it. Smooth. I liked it! I have used it only a few times, but I like it and recommend that you try it too. I have coupons...just ask me ok.
And send me more free stuff!
